graphicInfo.Design appreciates the support we've received from others

Growing a business takes determination, focus, and discipline to move an idea from its beginnings to where ideas really can make a difference in the lives of others. But we've learned that, more than anything else, businesses require participation and support of others, and for that we offer our thanks.

Organizational support

We appreciate the work and ideas from those people we've identified as our core team, our partnering consultants, partnering specialists and partnering firms.

We also appreciate the work of Steve Ritchey for much of the synthesis during the early years of Info.Design. Steve worked with Info.Design as he transitioned from his academic work to a part-time consultancy with WorldBank and eventually to an information architecture position with an international Web development firm. Steve continues to participate in our research into narrative and digital storytelling.

We appreciate the work performed by writers, researchers, and information designers Mary Jackson, Cynthia Mariel, Julie Reboulet, and Tom Beach. They believed in the possibilities in information architecture during a time when few stopped to think about the structure of information. We continue to call on them for expertise whenever possible.

Community support

As we've worked in the field of communication for many years, we've built relationships and learned from many of the researchers and experts we reference on this website and in our teaching. Although our list is by no means complete, we'd like to acknowledge those people who have contributed to the field and from whom we've learned about communication and performance improvement: Richard Saul Wurman, Karen Schriver, Ben Shneiderman, Theo Mandel, Ginny Redish, JoAnn Hackos, William Horton, Donald Norman, Jakob Nielsen, Susan Kleimann, and Lucy Freedman. We also appreciate the continued support from members of the Association of Professional Communication Consultants.
